ЛОГАБЕР-в-БЕРЛОГЕ:  —  «You  seem  to  be  a  veritable
“homme des lettres” ...».

Hi  berloga50 !

First of all: compliments for your website ! It's a lot of material of great variety and always of first-rate quality that you are displaying there! You seem to be a veritable 'homme des lettres' ...

I'm a scholar of comparative literature at Mainz university, Germany, and a great admirer of Wagner's oeuvre, having already prepared several courses about his life, work, and the history of Wagner singing and recording.

I was wondering whether you may have access to a particular recording of "Tristan und Isolde" that you could share via your website (or otherwise): It's the 2006 Donald Runnicles BBC recording with John Treleaven as Tristan and Christine Brewer as Isolde. I listened to it once in a library, and it was fantastic! Great singing, and a dark, sonorous orchestral sound, just as I prefer it ...

I sincerely hope you can help me out with this one; I attach a list of my digital music, maybe you find something you are interested in ...

Thanks in advance — and always have a splendid time enjoying the fine arts!

Best regards
